Small Farm Life, began as a series of essays in 2005 documenting the progress of the construction of Two Mile Ranch and launch as an online blog magazine in 2008. The focus is habitat, environmentally sustainable farming, safe processing and improving food access to the community.

The “Behind the Viewfinder – A Year in the Life of Photojournalism” project. 1998 – 2000
“Blogging” before we know what blogging was, 365 diaries of community photojournalist describing their work, their images, and their lives. Award-winning and ahead of its time in many ways, the talents of the contributors far outshine the web work and code required in those days. Now we have WordPress.

Imagine being in so much rain from a tropical storm that your clothes never dry, you’re likely to be evacuated from your hotel room to a higher floor, and your translator wants you to sing Beatles’ songs with him.
It’s another beautiful sunrise in the Mekong Delta. I know because we have agreed to get up early and watch the sun rise over the floating market here in Vinh Long from our hotel balconies.
There are many great rivers of the world; the Amazon, Nile, Yangtze, Rio Grande, Mississippi-Missouri. I am learning to love rivers. Since the Mississippi river flood of 1993, I have been fascinated by the way of life and the strength of the people who live along the great rivers of the world.
