"I have always wanted to join a mission ever since I first heard Dr. Bosshardt speak of the surgical missions he frequently attended. This is my second Operation Rainbow mission, having participated in the San Miguel, El Salvador, trip in 1997. I have also participated in two other missions to Palestine and Ecuador with another group since then. I do these things because I love to travel and do something useful, and this is absolutely the best way to do both. I like the challenge and seeing a group of diverse people come together for a good purpose."
