Does technology connect or isolate?
What social connections mean about the way we teach our students
The Internet and mobile connectivity have increased the number of tools to communicate and build social connections. “I was thinking about a small gallery showing,” he said.
His idea has blossomed. however, into one of the most attractive web sites around. More than 70 photographs are featured on www.visionsacred.org, designed by award-winning producers Donald Winslow and Fritz Nordengren.
Fritz Nordengren specializes in using digital media to tell stories. He has captured images of floating markets in Vietnam, mobile operating rooms in Ecuador, and cascades of brightly woven skirts in Guatemala. He performs a wide range of media consulting work, but also is deeply involved in the world of photojournalism and photojournalists. He was named one of AV Video Multimedia Producer magazine’s “top 100 producers of 1998.”

Max Cacas, online producer
Digital Storyteller: Fritz Nordengren: Nordengren is a “digital storyteller” and journalist. His web site offers remarkable “web documentaries” about different subjects ranging from Mexico to Columbine High School. Of particular interest is his web documentary, “Behind the Viewfinder: A Year in the Life of Photojournalism.” I think you will find this site fascinating: it shows what the web can really do at its best.
