Tom Hubbard recently retired from teaching photojournalism at Ohio State and now does newspaper photojournalism consulting. He either gives talks or spends a week at a paper. He first learns what the paper is doing and how people think about photojournalism. He then introduces new concepts of documentary photojournalism coverage. Documentary subjects are found beyond bureaucracy and the big three, government, police and sport. He stresses integration of reporters, editors and photographers in the process. Hubbard can be reached at 614/878 9017 or hubbard.1@osu.edu. Hubbard's writing on photojournalism and photos from his career can be seen at http://www.osu.edu/units/journalism/hubbard/index.html.
