Tom Burton is one of 21 photographers working for The Orlando Sentinel. In the more than 14 years he has worked for the paper, he has covered the full range of assignments including numerous college bartball games, the Super Bowl, many Daytona NASCAR races, a presidential inauguration, elections in Guatemala, earthquake aftermath in Mexico, Manuel Noriega in Panama and a Christmas gift delivery in Croatia. Most of his time has been spent covering the standard mix of daily media events, spot news and stand alone features.

Today, the majority of his assignments are for the features sections of the newspaper. He has a speciality in photo illustrations and fashion as well as portraiture and special projects. He also produces a weekly photography feature called A&E Gallery that shows the people and events in Central Florida’s arts and entertainment communities.
