Sometimes I take images just because. Because of beauty, or weirdness, or abstract patterns or the way something catches the light. Usually these images are not for publication. I shoot them - well - just because. Sometimes the pics work and sometimes they don’t, kinda like my daily news stuff. But they are always a learning thing. And sometimes I REALLY like what I have done. click to see full size image

These four pics are ones that fall into the “just because” category. Two of them I converted to b&w to possibly use on a promo piece but the other two didn’t work in b&w so I left them alone.

Work like this keeps me on my toes visually. Reminds me of things like the importance of texture and composition - things that can kinda get lost in the hustle bustle of getting the latest fender bender done by deadline. click to see full size image
